Charity and Jen
Charity Spalding (APD)
Charity Spalding is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 13 years of experience in helping people optimise their nutrition. Over her career, she has worked with both adults and children at various Sydney hospitals. She is also currently a registered NDIS provider. In 2017, Charity started Accessible Nutrition, a private practice where she works with children, their families and people with disability to help them reach their nutrition potential. In this role, she conducts direct client consultations, gives community presentations, writes books like this and even tries her hand at food styling!
Jennifer Richards is a food writer, researcher and sustainability educator. She writes for a number of premium food brands, small businesses and community organisations and a variety of online publications. In 2016, she founded Easy Green Recipes to equip communities with cooking skills and empower them to be healthy, sustainable and food secure – now and in the future. In this role, she develops recipes and gives community presentations around food and sustainability. Jennifer is also a passionate advocate for local agriculture in the Sydney basin, and a regular commentator on ABC Radio Sydney on “What’s Fresh on the Farm Gate Trail”.
